Q:  How do I get directions to your offices?

A:  You can simply click here for directions to our Paramus and Wayne offices. You will be able to receive directions by car or mass transit.

Q:  Is COMFORCE Staffing Services an Agency?

A:  COMFORCE is a full-service staffing firm. We manage six services, including a direct hire business. Consequently, if you are looking for a full-time, part-time, or temporary job, COMFORCE has a career choice for you. Remember, there is never a fee to the employee for our service..

Q:  How do I register with your company to work as a full-time employee, contractor, or temporary worker?

A:  You can simply fill out an online application with us. We will review your application and resume and contact you as soon as possible. Click here to apply on line. We may request that you come in to our office to fill out a complete application.

Q:  Will I be guaranteed a job if I come to your office to apply with COMFORCE?

A:  COMFORCE cannot guarantee anyone placement in a job with one of our clients. If we suggest that you come in to our office to fill out an application, it's usually for two reasons. Either we need your information in order to employ you as a temporary or contractor or we need to meet you in person in order to pre-screen you for a potential job opportunity. Remember when you register, you have registered with all offices throughout the country providing you with the opportunity to work in other cities.

Q:  What kind of work does COMFORCE offer?

A:  COMFORCE has the advantage of establishing long-lasting relationships with both small and large companies. Please click on any of our divisions to see what types of positions and industries COMFORCE specializes in.

Q:  Do you train employees?

A:  COMFORCE is primarily in the business of recruiting and placement. We do prepare our candidates for job opportunities by closely reviewing the details and background of the position. FREE word processing training is available to all our employees. In addition, COMFORCE also offers its employees FREE online training at COMFORCE University after working a certain number of hours per year. Please review our Employee benefits for details.

Q:  What other office locations does COMFORCE have?

Q:  Is COMFORCE the same company as Uniforce Staffing Services?

A:  Yes, COMFORCE Staffing Services acquired Uniforce Staffing Services in 1996.

Q:  What if I find a full-time job while I'm on a contract assignment?

A:  No problem at all. Our job is to help you obtain your career objectives. If you are on a contract assignment with COMFORCE and have found a full-time job, we ask that you give us one week notice so that we can make the necessary arrangements with our client.

Q:  What kind of testing does COMFORCE perform for its employees?

A:  All candidates are tested at our office locations. We implement the most recent versions of on-line testing applications for Microsoft Office, Medical Office, and Computer Applications and Languages.

Q:  How can I be sure that my current employer will not know that I'm looking for a job?

A:  One of our code of ethics is confidentiality. COMFORCE will not disclose to anyone that you or looking for a job. Your resume will remain with us until you personally authorize its submission for a specific job opportunity.

Q:  Will I have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time position if I'm currently working for a company as a temporary worker or contract consultant?

A:  Yes. There is no guarantee that an employer will directly hire you from us, but your work as a temporary worker or contract consultant will increase your chances of a direct hire by the employer.
